This book was overall ok but dragged a bit in places. It was over 400 pages and I felt like a lot of it could have been trimmed out. Also, the hero was pretty evil to the heroine at some points making me really not like his character and her docile acceptance of his horrible words and attitudes. In today's society that would be considered emotional abuse and completely unacceptable. This was my first book by this author, I am interested to try another but not sure now is the right time after I just finished that long one that did not leave the best taste in my mouth.
